I Love Scraps – Crazy Quilt Blocks

This past weekend at the Pioneer Village Museum I had a wonderful time visiting with people and talking about my treadle and hand crank sewing machines.

I successfully learned how to make crazy quilt blocks. They are addictive! As I used my scraps though, they seemed to grow. Probably from digging through and “fluffing” them up while trying to find just the right sized piece for my immediate need.

I would encourage all who have scrap stashes to give crazy quilt blocks a try. They work up fast and really look like fun afterwards. I got quite a number made; I think 15 total.

The instructions I found from the Connecting Threads website were really well done. I didn’t  have any problems at all.

Give it a try! 😀
